Guest Speaker

George Walther will present on Power Talking: How to Get Your But Out of Your Mouth and Master the Language of Success.

Most people acknowledge the power of positive thinking. Few, though, translate positive thoughts into verbal action. It’s what you say, and how you say it, that gets you ahead in business and in life. Knowing the secrets of Power Talking allows you to program your own brain and give yourself powerful advantages. Even purging one simple word, “but,” then replacing it with “and” encourages open-minded creative thinking and reduces conflicts. Dozens more simple verbal substitutions similarly shape your thoughts, actions, and results.

Scientific studies have shown that the way you speak dramatically influences your success in every area of life. Hardly anything’s more important than superb communication skills when it comes to advancing your career, winning and retaining customers, negotiating agreements, building harmonious and super-productive work teams, strengthening personal relationships, and resolving disputes.

Power Talking is a system of using common words to create uncommonly positive outcomes. We now know that “power talkers” sell more, live longer, enjoy

healthier lives, and achieve their career and personal goals faster. In this program, participants learn to identify the powerless, self-sabotaging phrases they’re undoubtedly using in their everyday conversations. We’ll uncover the powerful verbal replacements that generate superior results, resulting in happier and more successful lives and careers. The program’s Action Plan focuses on specific, verbatim substitutions to implement daily. This “language of success” helps all people who talk, regardless of job title or area of responsibility.

George is acclaimed expert in the personal development field with books, audio, and videos published worldwide. Translated into many languages around the world, his business communication guides include: Phone Power, Power Talking, Become a Verbal SuperPower, Upside-Down Marketing, and What You Say Is What You Get

His communication advice has appeared in publications as diverse as the Wall Street Journal and the Ladies Home Journal; media appearances include BBC and CNN. Delighted clients include Microsoft, Starbucks, American Airlines, FedEx and a host of world-class organizations that rely on creating outstanding communication cultures.

Any expert’s advice is of little value unless he can grab and hold your attention. George is uncommonly riveting on stage. He’s been honored as a lifetime inductee in the Speakers Hall of Fame and also holds the Certified Speaking Professional designation. Most important, though, his audiences are involved, entertained, and they laugh a lot!
